Insurance intermediation

The insurance intermediary Titanium Life Ltd offers investment-linked insurance policies from international and domestic insurance companies, tailored to the customer’s new or existing investment portfolio. An investment-linked insurance policy offers investors a wide range of tax benefits and a gateway to the global securities market.

Titanium offers a flexible, secure and cost-effective insurance intermediation for private, corporate and institutional customers.

Investment insurance

Insurance-linked investment services are an efficient way of managing investment assets.

Investment advice or asset management services are available for use in insurance. Insurance savings consist of insurance premiums paid, the performance of investments, deposits, interest, dividends and income proceeds.

The investment-linked insurance policy includes life insurance on the basis of which, in the event of the insured’s death, the beneficiary is paid life insurance benefit based on the insurance savings. In investment-linked insurance, the policyholder is usually a private individual, but can also be a company or organisation.

Group pension insurance

Group pension insurance is a collective pension insurance policy taken out by a company for a specific group of employees. Group pension insurance can be used to supplement statutory pension cover and to retire earlier.

Retirement pension is paid according to the accumulated insurance savings and the agreed retirement period, and the minimum retirement age is 55 years. The insurance includes life insurance cover, for which the amount of the insurance savings is paid to the beneficiaries in the event of death. The insurance can also optionally include cover for permanent incapacity for work.

The value development of insurance savings can be linked to Titanium’s asset management service with an individual investment strategy or, if desired, to the calculation basis rate offered by the insurance company.

Taxation:

  • Group pension premiums paid by the company are tax-deductible expenses for the company.
  • Insurance premiums are not considered as employees’ wages, so the company does not have to withhold taxes on the premiums or pay the employer’s social security expenses.
  • The one-off compensation paid on the basis of permanent incapacity for work is tax-free to the recipient according to the legislation of 2022.
  • The pension is taxable earned income for the recipient.
  • Life insurance benefits are fully subject to inheritance tax for close relatives.
